Thinking Forth By Leo Brodie
2004 | 313 Pages | ISBN: 0976458705 | PDF | 5 MB
If you program in Forth, this book is mind-opening. I second the reviewer who said you should read this book after reading "Starting Forth".However, to the reviews along the lines of "You don't use Forth? Doesn't matter": I think this book would be very hard going for someone not familiar with Forth. In fact, it is a bit dated, and there are better, more modern books available on non-Forth design, factoring, etc. Also note that the copyright holder has made this edition of the book (2004) freely available online. Buying from Amazon saves you from getting square eyes (or using up all your print toner).

Written by award-winning scholar Jonathan Turner, Theoretical Sociology: 1830 to the Present covers new and emerging aspects of sociological theory and examines the significant contributions of both modern and founding theorists. The Wages of Wins: Taking Measure of the Many Myths in Modern Sport By David J. Berri, Martin B. Schmidt, Stacey L. Brook
2006 | 299 Pages | ISBN: 0804752877 | PDF | 3 MB
Fantastic read. Not something that one can read quickly or just skim if one hopes to get the most out of the book. There is a lot of analysis that takes time to comprehend in order to most appreciate the messages of the various chapters/topics. This book is best to read when one has a lot of quiet time as opposed to reading bits and pieces riding on the bus or waiting in the doctors waiting room. I certainly have enjoyed reading it even though one reads at a slower pace compared to reading some fiction novel. Great book !!!!
