Data Structure and Algorithms Using C++ A Practical Implementation
Data Structure and Algorithms Using C++: A Practical Implementation by Sachi Nandan Mohanty, Pabitra Kumar Tripathy
English | ISBN: 1119750547 | 416 pages | EPUB | January 12, 2021 | 5.76 Mb
Everyone knows that programming plays a vital role as a solution to automate and execute a task in a proper manner. Irrespective of mathematical problems, the skills of programming are necessary to solve any type of problems that may be correlated to solve real life problems efficiently and effectively. This book is intended to flow from the basic concepts of C++ to technicalities of the programming language, its approach and debugging. The chapters of the book flow with the formulation of the problem, it's designing, finding the step-by-step solution procedure along with its compilation, debugging and execution with the output. Keeping in mind the learner's sentiments and requirements, the exemplary programs are narrated with a simple approach so that it can lead to creation of good programs that not only executes properly to give the output, but also enables the learners to incorporate programming skills in them. The style of writing a program using a programming language is also emphasized by introducing the inclusion of comments wherever necessary to encourage writing more readable and well commented programs. As practice makes perfect, each chapter is also enriched with practice exercise questions so as to build the confidence of writing the programs for learners. The book is a complete and all-inclusive handbook of C++ that covers all that a learner as a beginner would expect, as well as complete enough to go ahead with advanced programming. This book will provide a fundamental idea about the concepts of data structures and associated algorithms. By going through the book, the reader will be able to understand about the different types of algorithms and at which situation and what type of algorithms will be applicable.

1999 | 242 Pages | ISBN: 0814479944 | PDF | 2 MB
Regular use of cognitive techniques to exercise the brain "smarter" is a proven method of improving thought agility and mental flexibility. In today's world where you need to be able to think on your feet even during the "low" times of the day, these are worth practicing. May I also recommend "The Care and Feeding of Your Brain" as a companion guide to optimize general brain function as you exercise it with Eiffert's neat techniques...Ken Giuffre MD, author "The Care and Feeding of Your Brain"

Conversations on Consciousness
Conversations on Consciousness By Susan J. Blackmore
2005 | 279 Pages | ISBN: 019280622X | PDF | 5 MB
This is a delightful collection of interviews with 20 famous names in the study of consciousness. Sue Blackmore, herself a writer on consciousness, engages in conversation with each of these very different personalities, drawing out their views on the nature of the mind, on how what goes on in the network of neurons in the brain produces our vivid experiences, and whether we have free will. The collection includes interviews with such well-known names as Daniel Dennett, John Searle, David Chalmers, Francis Crick (the last interview he gave), V. Ramachandran, Roger Penrose, Richard Gregory, and Susan Greenfield. The interviews are conducted in an informal but focused style, bringing out the personality of each interviewee, and giving the reader a very accessible and readable introduction to their ideas, and to the central scientific and philosophical challenges involved in understanding the nature of mind and consciousness.

Confabulation Theory The Mechanism of Thought
Confabulation Theory: The Mechanism of Thought By Robert Hecht-Nielsen
2007 | 252 Pages | ISBN: 3540496033 | PDF | 10 MB
Full disclosure -- I've known Robert Hecht-Nielsen since 1986, when I took his short course on neural networks at UCSD. He's a respected friend and colleague.Robert's passion for the field and his research has resulted in an enthusiastic presentation style that apparently struck one of the other reviewers as "over the top". But the plus side is that this is a contagious passion. This is particularly true given his outstanding results, particularly in sentence completion, next sentence generation, and object segmentation. He is a talented researcher with substantial neuroengineering and design experience, plus a broad and deep knowledge of the field, as well as a strong research team, so these advantages have to be taken into consideration when evaluating his results. That said, the results speak for themselves and make this book a worthwhile read.
