The study recommends that both countries need to give space to each other and have composite and bilateral dialogues on the economic as well as the political issues to develop a consensus.

The European Union is an ever-expanding club of which many seek membership, although, as the recent rejection of the European Constitution by the French and the Dutch and the Brexit vote demonstrate, we Europeans still cling to our national independence.
