    Let Life Flow
Let Life Flow By Ramesh S. Balsekar
    2009 | 100 Pages | ISBN: 8188479160 | PDF | 1 MB
Change, unceasing change which is the very basis of life and living, is what Let Life Flow is all about. Ramesh says that life is like a deep river, flowing incessantly, whereas the day-to-day living for most people is a preference for the security and stagnancy of the little pools beside the river. What happens in life is that the challenge is always new, but our response is old because it is formed on the past, which is memory. Experiencing with memory is one state, but experiencing without memory is altogether different. A new thought, an inspiration can happen only when the mind is not caught in the net of memory. It is only when the mind is still, tranquil, not seeking any solution, any answer, neither resisting nor avoiding, that it is capable of receiving what is true, that which is eternal, timeless, immeasurable. You cannot go to it, it comes to you; what liberates is the truth, not your effort to be free. Ramesh uses the river as an apt metaphor for his concept that no one is a doer but, rather, all actions are happenings ordained by the One Source, who some refer to as God. To perceive ourselves as the doers is like the river thinking that it is pushing itself onwards to the sea, or the sea thinking that the tides are its own doing - totally oblivious of the fact that is the gravitational force of the moon that is responsible for their ebb and flow. To let life flow, in general terms, means that we should go about our daily routine with a relaxed attitude, based on the total basic understanding that nothing at all can happen unless it is supposed to happen according to one's destiny, according to the Cosmic Law.

Pedorthics 101 Let's Talk about Your Feet Root Cause of Foot Problems How to Eliminate the Cause Anklebone Alignment
Pedorthics 101 Let's Talk about Your Feet: Root Cause of Foot Problems How to Eliminate the Cause Anklebone Alignment By Inna Chon; Kate Erb
    2017 | 126 Pages | ISBN: 1947142011 | EPUB | 12 MB
An ABC certified pedorthist who used to be an animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studio writes this book. Animators know how to analyze the movement with weight and ground reaction force. With simple analysis of the law of physics, this book demonstrates how your foot arches are falling each step you take; and why orthotics are essential devices in order to align your ankle bones, thus provide true balance for your feet. With nearly 200 illustrations, this book shows the foot structure and its mechanics, and how your body is connected to the ankle bones that are part of the arches. With the facts that your legs stand right on the ankle bones and the arches falling each step you take, thus tilting the ankle bones; this book demonstrates how these fallen arches cause foot deformities and pains while misaligning our body's major joints that stand on the ankle bones. Also, this book demonstrates how the orthotics that align your ankle bones can prevent and improve fallen arch syndromes all over your body; and most importantly, how to test your ankle bone alignment and how to stand and walk correctly. With aligned anklebones, your body will move more efficiently in every activity, at work or in sports, while minimizing injuries.

Don't Let It Get You Down Essays on Race, Gender, and the Body [Audiobook]
    English | ASIN: B08SWP6BZT | 2021 | 6 hours and 46 minutes |MP3|M4B | 186 MB
A powerful and provocative collection of essays that offers poignant reflections on living between society's most charged, politicized, and intractably polar spaces - between Black and White, rich and poor, thin and fat. Savala Nolan knows what it means to live in the in-between. It is these liminal spaces - of race, class, and body type - that the essays in Don't Let It Get You Down excavate, presenting a clear and nuanced understanding of our society's most intractable points of tension. The 12 essays that comprise this collection are rich with unforgettable anecdotes and are as humorous and as full of Nolan's appetites as they are of anxieties. The result is lyrical and magnetic.
