Finally, came the BBQ grill, which takes us out of the kitchen back to the way meat was meant to be enjoyed - cooked outdoors. Barbequing is faster and tastier than any meal you might prepare in an oven. This Barbeque and Grilling Cookbook is all about cooking by an open fire. It's how food should taste, but rarely does.

Authentic Writing
Jeffrey Rice, "Authentic Writing "
English | ISBN: 082294670X | 2021 | 240 pages | PDF | 11 MB
In typical academic circles, texts must be critiqued, mined for the obfuscated meanings they hide, and shown to reveal larger, broader meanings than what are initially evident. To engage in this type of writing is to perform an authentic version of scholarship. But what if a scholar chooses instead to write without critique? What if they write about travelling, their children, food, grocery shopping, frozen garlic bread, sandwiches, condiments, falafel, yoga, and moments that normally wouldn't be considered scholarly? Can the writing still be scholarly? Can scholarly writing be authentic if its topics comprise the everyday?

Architecture Patterns with Python Enabling Test-Driven Development, Domain-Driven Design (True PDF)
English | 2020 | ISBN: 1492052205 | 304 pages | True PDF | 11.15 MB
As Python continues to grow in popularity, projects are becoming larger and more complex. Many Python developers are now taking an interest in high-level software design patterns such as hexagonal/clean architecture, event-driven architecture, and the strategic patterns prescribed by domain-driven design (DDD). But translating those patterns into Python isn't always straightforward.
With this hands-on guide, Harry Percival and Bob Gregory from MADE.com introduce proven architectural design patterns to help Python developers manage application complexity-and get the most value out of their test suites.

Apocalypse Postponed
Umberto Eco, "Apocalypse Postponed"
English | 2000 | ISBN: 0253024196, 0253318513 | 240 pages | PDF | 6.3 MB
An erudite and witty collection of Umberto Eco's essays on mass culture from the 1960s through the 1980s, including major pieces which have not been translated into English before. The discussion is framed by opposing characterizations of current intellectuals as apocalyptic and opposed to all mass culture, or as integrated intellectuals, so much a part of mass culture as to be unaware of serving it. Organized in four main parts, "Mass Culture: Apocalypse Postponed," "Mass Media and the Limits of Communication," "The Rise and Fall of Counter-Cultures," and "In Search of Italian Genius," Eco looks at a variety of topics and cultural productions, including the world of Charlie Brown, distinctions between highbrow and lowbrow, the future of literacy, Chinese comic strips, whether countercultures exist, Fellini's Ginger and Fred, and the Italian genius industry.

Algorithms and Architectures for Cryptography and Source Coding in Non-Volatile Flash Memories
Algorithms and Architectures for Cryptography and Source Coding in Non-Volatile Flash Memories
English | 2021 | ISBN: 365834458X | 155 Pages | PDF EPUB | 10 MB
In this work, algorithms and architectures for cryptography and source coding are developed, which are suitable for many resource-constrained embedded systems such as non-volatile flash memories. A new concept for elliptic curve cryptography is presented, which uses an arithmetic over Gaussian integers. Gaussian integers are a subset of the complex numbers with integers as real and imaginary parts. Ordinary modular arithmetic over Gaussian integers is computational expensive. To reduce the complexity, a new arithmetic based on the Montgomery reduction is presented. For the elliptic curve point multiplication, this arithmetic over Gaussian integers improves the computational efficiency, the resistance against side channel attacks, and reduces the memory requirements. Furthermore, an efficient variant of the Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW) algorithm for universal lossless data compression is investigated. Instead of one LZW dictionary, this algorithm applies several dictionaries to speed up the encoding process. Two dictionary partitioning techniques are introduced that improve the compression rate and reduce the memory size of this parallel dictionary LZW algorithm.
