Ray is a Data Scientist at a large financial institution and discovered there is a serious gap between the skills and techniques students learn in school versus what they actually need on the job in the real world. He'll teach you the foundations of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Model Optimization. TDD and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) are standard practices in software development. They should be used by data scientists as well.
This course is intended for aspiring data scientists and programmers looking to expand their knowledge of Test Driven Development and Model Optimization.
In this course you'll learn:

What is Behavior Driven Development
How to build tests for Model Performance
How to optimize our model to improve performance
You'll gain hands-on experience with each concept by testing a model on the AG News Data Set.
Throughout the course, you'll walk through code examples in Python. You'll also utilize popular libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and pytest. No prior knowledge of TDD is needed for this course; however, a working knowledge of basic programming concepts (functions, for loops, etc.) and intermediate Python skills are recommended.
