It's 100 years since the Russian Revolution. Actor Brian Cox goes to Russia to discover stories of Scots who made this vast, troubled country their own.

Chapter 1: Moscow
Brian discovers stories of Scots, including a spy, a poet and the highest-ranking general in the Russian army, and has an emotional reunion with students he taught 30 years ago.

Chapter 2: St Petersburg
Brian meets his daughter Margaret, finds out how our own Robert Burns is a Russian hero, meets veterans from the Siege of Leningrad and discovers the Scot behind Russian football.
